Rampant Rambling

If you’re judging the viability/acceptability of a romantic relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman before Justice League #12 even comes out, just sit back and think for a minute.

You are judging the work of talented writers and artists who’ve been toward on or towards this, and confining a decades-old company to its previous publishings. Things have changed in continuity before, and even Superman and Lois Lane was not established from the beginning. Give the creators room to breathe and develop their story lines. Then, if you still don’t like it, then you can complain about it. Because then it’ll be about what you’re actually reading rather than your preconceived notions. But for now, none of us know anything yet. Give it a chance.

99% percent of being a fan of DC Comics is complaining about DC Comics.

3 Day DC Comics Sale: Nightwing-centric issues $.99

DC is having a sale on their digital comics featuring Dick Grayson, and I thought I’d share because I just bought tons.

Anonymous ASKED:
Hi, I'm new to Comics and I was just wondering if you could explain why everyone seems to hate Scott Lobdell? I'm at a loss there so yeahhhhhh, hah.

He’s so pathetic. Let me tell you something about Scott Lobdell. He’s one of the industries most highly-paid and prolific writers. I know, right? It’s so embarrassing. I don’t even… Whatever. So then after years of continuity, DC decided to reboot its universe which was supposed to boost sales but pissed some fans off, and Scott was like, weirdly trying to fuck up all his characters. Like, if fans would point out how Starfire puts the “object” in sex object, he’d be like, “It’s not demeaning, she’s an alien!” And I’d be like, “No that’s misogyny.” So then, in Red Hood #6, which gave background information on Starfire and Jason Todd, I was like, “Scott, this is sexist, because she doesn’t remember Dick Grayson, who she was in love with. ” I mean, she didn’t even remember his name but she remembered that they fucked. They spent years fighting the forces of evil side by side. I mean, right? He was writing terribly. So then he responded to his criticism, and started calling the fans sexists, it was so infantile and stupid. And then he fucked up Superboy and Teen Titans because no one had any more expectations from RHatO, and he came back the next month for RHatO #7 and it wasn’t much better, and now I guess he’s still a sexist child.
