who would you cast as Poison Ivy in a Batman film?

Oh man I’m going to have too much fun with this and it’s all going to be your fault. First off, DC does not need to be making more Batman films right now, and Uma Thurman was a mediocre Ivy. I think Traci Lords a few years ago would have been perfect, but I think she’s a bit old now. Not that she isn’t still completely gorgeous, but Ivy has more youthful vigor or something. So I guess here are some choices I think would be rad:

• Milla Jovovich — Pamela is stunning, but her sex appeal really comes from this confidence and sophistication she has that I think really requires an actress who is in her 30s or maybe early 40s. Milla is probably my first choice.
• January Jones — She might be too perky, but she’s a fabulous actress and certainly looks the part
• Monica Bellucci — I know I said 30s to early 40s, but this woman does not age. She’s Italian, so the red hair might be hard to work on her, though.
• Eva Green — Maybe a touch young for my taste, but I’m sure DC would rather cast a younger woman. I also have concerns about her being typecast.

I think a lot of people want Christina Hendricks or something, which frankly I don’t get. Maybe that’s just me. I wouldn’t cast someone in her 20s, and I wouldn’t cast anyone who describes Poison Ivy as a “femme fatale.”
